Dommerich Elementary will be torn down in late 2009, and a new school will replace it. To pay tribute to the school and the teachers who shaped our lives, we held a reunion on May 2, 2009. Please check the message board, blog and photo albums to see what a fantastic time everyone had visiting the school and old friends It was a great party for all ages, we had classmates and teachers who attended Dommerich when it was still being held at the Maitland School, all the way to students who will be graduating in the class of 2009 and beyond.
We will be keeping the site open to all former and current classmates and teachers of the Dommerich Elementary School, Maitland, Florida. Please use the message board or blog. Share your experiences at the reunion, any memories you have from your school days, and to keeping in touch with old pals and new old friends.

Now that the reunion is over, please be mindful of the State of Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act:
Due to the State of Florida's Jessica Lunsford Act and policies instituted by the Orange County Public Schools, general civilian access (including alumni) to the school during the day while students are on campus is strictly forbidden. Only families of students are allowed on the premises.
All visits to the school, including members of the media, must be conducted by appointment only. Photography during normal school hours is not permitted, as these rules are in place to protect the children and staff.
The Alumni Association supports these policies and asks all alumni to join us in complying.
